An accessibility-centered educator with experience in literature, spatial rhetorics, writing centers, and writing instruction.

I am an Associate Professor of English and the Director of the Writing Center at the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND. My research focuses accessible pedagogy and Writing Across the Curriculum with a secondary interest in transnational modernism and expatriation.

I am an award winning instructor in First-Year Writing and 20th-century literature, a writing center administrator, and a consultant on accessibility and Universal Design in Learning in higher education.

My Work

Research

My research includes pedagogical research on inclusive teaching practices, work in writing center studies, and literary criticism on transnational modernism.

Teaching

I use an accessibility-centered approach to curricular design in both writing literature and classes, and in one-on-one tutoring.

Service

I am committed to cross-campus collaboration in teacher training, research, curricular design, and leadership.
